Dustin was born with Spina Bifida, which leaves his lower extremities paralyzed. Dustin relies on his wheelchair to get around – but don’t you think for a minute that it slows this Superstar down!

Dustin is a strong member of his family and excels academically, maintaining an A/B average in his classes and coursework. He also volunteers in the church any chance that he gets.

He has been playing wheelchair basketball for six years now. Dustin is part of the TIRR Memorial Houston Hotwheels basketball team. Through this time, they have not one, but, TWO National Championship titles to show for it!

Dustin has also taken on track recently and already participated at the State Level in Austin, Texas. Never being satisfied with the status quo, he is adding shot put to his schedule this year and is training for a half marathon in the spring!
